Tryouts:

Every Kid deserves the opportunity to experience team lacrosse
 
Cuts: Yes
Those with bad attitude, lack of Hustle, missing practice, constantly missing equipment, bad grades or bad behavior at school, will be dropped with No Refund.
 
What players receive:
Learning proper individual mechanics of lacrosse: Yes
Excellent coaching: Yes
Learning to respect the game: Yes
Learning how to win and lose like a champion: Yes
Learning how to work extremely hard: Yes
Learning how to be a part of a team: Yes
Extra hard conditioning:Yes
Bumps, bruises and scrapes: Yes
Lots of cool Hewes lacrosse apparel: Yes
Equal playing time in games: No
Playing a little in each game: Yes
 
When are practices:
2-4 days per week (tba) after school 2:30-5pm
Some Friday nights and Saturdays in December
Various dates over winter break (not mandatory)
 
When are games:
Mostly Saturdays, some on Friday nights and Saturday nights, possibility of 1 or 2 Sunday afternoon games. Sometimes mid-week after school vs Pioneer. All league games are in OC within 25 minutes travel.
 
When is the season:
Official Hewes team practices begin November 5th
League Games begin January 13th and end March 3rd
 
How much is registration:
Girls $240       Boys $335
 * There is an additional required fee for US lacrosse and OC Lacrosse Association
    membership

Late registration (anything after postmarked after October 26th), additional $ 50 late fee
